Will: A document in which the maker specifies who is to receive his or her property at death. Wills nominate an executor who will be appointed and supervised by the probate court to manage your estate, pay your debts, expenses and taxes, and distribute your estate according to the instructions in your will. Your will can also nominate guardians for your minor children.

Will Drafting
The drafting of a will can be a complicated and confusing process.  Although an individual can draft a will by himself or herself, there is a vast array of issues a will should address.  The will should contain provisions that name beneficiaries for the property, name an executor of the will, and instruct on the payment of debts and taxes. Additionally, a will should also cover all legal issues of the deceased’s minor children, if any are left behind. This includes naming guardians for the children, leaving property to the minor children, and naming property managers for the children’s property.

At Wang IP Law Group P.C., we draft wills that provide for all of our clients’ needs, both now and in the future. Our attorneys thoroughly consult with clients to listen to and address all their concerns, first, before drafting the will. We then create wills custom-tailored to each of our individual clients’ needs,  never using a simple boilerplate form like other firms.
